This site is the wholesale division of the Speciality Soap Shoppe.
We manufacture handmade natural vegetable soap in quite large quantities here in Central Queensland.
We purchase our base oils in 1 tonne pallet lots enabling us to pass the savings onto our resellers.
All of our ingredients are purchased in bulk quantities from Australian and international suppliers.
We use essential oils where possible, where the essential oil is too expensive for the fragrance we have a supplier who supplies us with a premium quality fragrance.
These fragrances are of a very high quality,long lasting and dentinal to the real fragrance.
Our handmade are made using a special formula that has been tried and proven over the last 6 years.
This recipe uses the following oils: Palm,Coconut,Soya Bean,Sunflower,Rice Bran and Castor oil.
These oils are produced from one of the leading oil mills in the world,and are of a superior quality of the supermarket brands.
Our handmade soaps are carefully crafted using the cold process method where the naturally occurring glycerine is retained in the bar.
Between 10-13% glycerine is retained using this method. In commercially produced soaps have the glycerine stripped out as it’s value is far greater that that of the soap.
These handmade soaps are then left to dry for a time and then wrapped.
We wrap our handmade soap using a state of the art cellophane over wrapping machine.
This machine is capable of wrapping up to 55 per minute but we normally run it at about 22 per minute.
We have had to purchase this machine to help us with the drastic increase of orders that are emailed and faxed to us here.
Our orders are despatched using Australia Post’s eParcel. This is a full track and trace where your order is trackable from the time it leaves here to the time it arrives at your residence.
