About our soaps
This site is the wholesale division of the Speciality Soap Shoppe.
We manufacture handmade natural vegetable soap in quite large quantities here in Central Queensland.

We purchase our base oils in 1 tonne pallet lots enabling us to pass the savings onto our resellers.
Our goal is to produce the highest quality handmade soap and resell to all Australians at the best possible price.
Our handmade soap is designed for those who need a premium quality soap because of skin problems (dry skin, eczema, psoriasis), or sensitivities to ingredients found in commercially produced soap.
We commenced manufacturing handmade soap 9 plus years ago after completing one small log as a trial. Soapmaking is a passion for us and we work to produce the best quality handmade soap at the best possible. price to all Australians.

Our handmade are made using a special formula that has been tried and proven over the last 9 years.
This recipe uses the following oils: Palm,Coconut,Soya Bean,Sunflower,Rice Bran and Castor oil.
These oils are produced from one of the leading oil mills in the world,and are of a superior quality of the supermarket brands.
All our handmade soaps are hand cut and allowed to dry for a period before wrapping.
We wrap our handmade soap using a state of the art cellophane over wrapping machine.
This machine is capable of wrapping up to 55 per minute but we normally run it at about 22 per minute.
We have had to purchase this machine to help us with the drastic increase of orders that are emailed and faxed to us here.
Our orders are despatched using Star track and Australia Post’s eParcel. These are full track and trace where your order is trackable from the time it leaves here to the time it arrives at your residence.
Our rates are the best rates of a trackable system available anywhere.

Manufacturing:
Cold Process Method: This process is widely used by home-based soap makers. The neutralization stage takes place during the moulding stage.
We use a heavily discounted water in our lye base. This allows us to use extra oil in our base resulting in a much harder drier bar of handmade soap.We have special drying benches build to facilitate the drying process
